After watching The 4th Kind yesterday, the Warrior in me wanted to kick someone's ass but the names are a mystery. As I pondered things further, a question came to me just before bedtime.
"Are there truly beings who wish to enslave us or is this the manifestation of our own darkness?"
The answer is "Yes".
The writing below may help with feelings we are having at this time. Very typical of Scorpio energy to want to hide and not know the depth and passion of our feelings. It's just too scary. Observe, feel, forgive, accept, love.Sagittarius is on the horizon and it ain't scared! cool See you all soon! L!

This month, the rage surfaces. Just like bubbling lava that’s been deep underground and now longs to surface, so too in this month will anything you’ve been keeping stored inside you.

Do you fear this? Do you fear that the inner parts of you that now seek sunlight are dark and should remain hidden? They are still a part of you, as much as the parts of you that you show yourself and others.

Now, while we used the word “rage,” it would be inaccurate and incomplete to describe the majority of what is happening this month as angry, or vengeful, or dark. Instead, we invite you to think of what bubbles forth into the sunlight this month as “movement.” Joyful. Opening. Inviting you into your wholeness.

This doesn’t mean that you will feel nothing but good feelings, although the more you invite the hidden parts of you into the light with joy and acceptance, joy and acceptance are what you will feel. But this is a process that brings up emotions and judgments that are connected to the inner parts of yourself you've been hiding. There are reasons you've been keeping them submerged — patterns you've become accustomed to using. Any time you are faced with elements of yourself you’ve been keeping hidden, you could experience resistance. Or feel shame. Or uncertainty. So, too, could those around you, who will be surprised at your new depth and may react with their own reactions to this new energy. But understand that these are their reactions to what they feel inside themselves, and have nothing to do with your relative goodness or lack of goodness.

Let’s explore the various ways that the rage bubbles to the surface this month.
Emotionally

You may be feeling more ups and downs this month, wider swings. Understand this is a temporary condition. Neither your ups nor your downs are permanent, and its easiest to think of yourself as a net in the ocean, where the flow of the water, the dark waves above and around you, simply flows through you.
Physically

Anything that is hidden under the surface on various currents of your physicality – whether it is in your circulatory system, your digestive system, your musculature, or anywhere – may be coming to the surface this month. This is an excellent month, then, to give yourself the gift of supportive energetic healing, to help this process in a smooth manner. Utilize whatever other supportive, nourishing therapies that most appeal to you this month. Immersing yourself in a bath that contains a few handfuls of natural sea salt is an excellent therapy, as are nourishing vegetable and high-quality meat broths and soups.
Relationships

As we indicated earlier, any changes in you affect those around you. This is not the time to mitigate the experiences of the people around you. Try to allow yourself to detach from responsibility for their experiences – compassion is not the same as taking responsibility for another’s happiness.

A quick and easy visualization to perform this month to aid in remaining compassionately detached:
Think of several people in your life that you care about. Now thinking about them one at a time, imagine the connection between you as a shining cord. This cord can attach to you any number of places.

If the place of attachment is anywhere but your heart, remove that attachment and create another so that the attachment between you and the other person moves from your heart to theirs and back again. Be sure that movement along this cord runs in either direction; you can ask to be shown if it does not.

Perform this visualization with each person on the list you made several times this month.
Careers and finances

Like everything else, money and jobs are simply energy. Anything under the surface in these areas also comes to light this month. This could mean anything from difficult dynamics with co-workers to Uncle Larry’s inheritance finally catching up with you. Think this month about your relationship to money, and try to imagine money – yours, or anyone’s – as simply energy, part of an unending source of universal energy. The more you realize you are tapped into part of an amazing infinite whole, the easier your relationship with money becomes.

You’ll notice, too, that your relationship with money has a lot to do with the relationship your parents had with money as well. Don’t discount any resemblance here, and allow yourself to honor the connection that exists here for you.

Careers are simply one way of identifying the Self. This is a good month to bring your various identities out to play in the light as well.
The World

Volcanoes, earthquakes, tsunamis and similar catastrophic events are but one way of the planet manifesting bubbling moving energy that moves to the surface. Depending on how easily and completely we as individuals release our individual tensions and long-held inner parts, the planet may not need to relieve global pressure in dramatic ways, but you could also see movement in the form of natural disaster.
Politics

Again, inner dynamics come into the light this month, and we would say in some surprising ways. Look for big policy reversals on issues that have been a struggle for a long time.
Conclusion

You are not alone in this movement of bringing things to the surface. You are connected not only to one another but also to the larger sense of timelessness and placelessness that is your universal experience. Although your perception supports individual awareness, remember you are moving through this energy together. As one. And with the support, love, and guidance of one another and of universal source energy.

i went to the 4th kind last night and walked out after the first 5 minutes as the violence was too much for me. i commented about it on my facebook profile and a friend linked to this post for me to read someone else's thoughts about it. i enjoyed reading your blog but wanted to comment on some astrological misinformation (i am an astrologer :)

scorpio rules the depths and intensity and does not shy away from it. scorpio is actually known for going overboard when it comes to delving into deep feelings- and can at times have difficulty with being light. sagittarius on the other hand is the eternal optimist and is known for exuberance and playfulness- and actually tends to shy away from intense, deep feelings. it's true sadge has no fear but it's more of the external kind. scorpio has no fear- and it is of the internal kind.

as for the anger people are feeling- there is a MAJOR aspect underway right now- saturn square pluto- which is unearthing a lot of fear based behavior in relationships, business and the world at large. it is exact no 11/15 and will be exact 2 more times through next july. i will be writing a blog about it tomorrow so feel free to check out my site- www.divineharmony.org (look under the writings tab). many people are feeling the intensity right now and i feel that astrology is a useful tool that helps us align with and understand the energies that are permeating our atmosphere :)

i hope that was useful information for you!

thanks again for the thoughtful post :)

Thanks Laura,

I needed this! I am usually a very kind, loving and compassionate person. Yet, lately, I have been filled with anger, envy and rage. So not like me. I have felt so off these past few weeks.

After reading this, I was able to identify things from my past that I had not come to terms with. Thank you so much. I feel better now. I understand once again it is all part of the ascension process. Sometimes we get blindsided.

I think I told you, I started a Starseeds group in Denver. I needed to know I wasn't alone during this monumental process.
Namaste Sistar!

Love and Light,

To Harmony!
Thank You for the reply and insight!
I am a Sagg, Virgo rising, Taurus moon and have 3 planets in Scorpio with everything else scattered all over the Zodiac.(no Cancer or Pisces tho). My stepfather and step mother were and are Scorpios, I once married one and have had several other relationships of various types. I agree that Scorpio is an intense and deeply feeling sign and admire and empathize with their intensity.
My experience with them has largely been that they cannot, will not deal with their inner feelings and wisdom but tend to suffer in the darkness. The plight of the Scorpio has caused much sorrow in my life and I have often accredited my Sagittarius nature as my savior. We each have our challenges - yes?
Am always happy to hear another's angle on Astrology. Have studied it since high school but mostly just the personality aspects and mostly Linda Goodman's stuff.
Blessings, Laura!

hi laura :) yes that must be it then- you have both signs and you are able to bridge them in harmonious ways. that is awesome! you are right that sometimes scorpios can have such intense inner experiences that they cut themselves off from going into them and dealing with them. i know several of them who feel as though going into the darkness would be like letting pandora's box open! having the perspective of sadge and the depth of scorpio is quite the advantage! and it sure seems your family has scorpio karma! it's always interesting to see family charts and see what signs keep coming up. the themes are always very illuminating ;)

thank you again for your post! i enjoyed reading it!
