Need Walk-In and Otherkin Volunteers!

Hi, everyone! I hope this won't be considered spam, but I'd like your help in completing a survey.

As part of a class on the science of the occult, I want to write a paper on Walk-Ins and Otherkin. Specifically, I am trying to find out if there are any common threads in Otherkin Awakening processes, Walking-In processes, or even the two events in respect to each other. To help with this, I am currently creating a survey which I hope will help me to establish if there are certain ways in which experiences might cause the brain to develop so that people are more likely to reach the conclusion that they are Otherkin or Walk-Ins. I am not trying to 'debunk' anyone, but there might actually be things that a brain does in response to certain stimuli that make it more likely that people will 'Awaken' or 'Walk-In'. If there are, I'd like to know about them.

To do this, I will be asking questions regarding medical, environmental, amd family history. I will also be looking for any history of trauma; but if there are ANY questions which study participants are uncomfortable in answering, they simply do not have to answer them. They are free to only answer parts of the questionaire, or even to drop out of the study completely. It'd be great if they could at least contact me to let me know if this is what they are doing, but this isn't expected and certainly isn't necessary.

There is a small monetary incentive being offered. Everyone who participates will receive a small present from me, and at the end of my semester, there will also be a raffle in which one participant from each categoy (i.e. Walk-In and Otherkin) will receive a small monetary reward of ten United States dollars. To be eligible for this raffle, particapants must have their questionaire returned to me by November 7th. If you're simply interested in helping me out of the goodness of your heart, however, I will still be accepting surveys after that date. My paper is due at the end of November.

It is critical that I make it absolutely clear that ALL INFORMATION YOU MIGHT OFFER ME WILL BE KEPT CONFIDENTIAL. I repeat that there will probably be some questions which some people might feel uncomfortable answering, and i also remind you that you are more than free to simply not answer any or all of them. I'm simply not the kind of person who exploits people's privacy like that, and you may even request a signed contract in which I will promise that I will never reveal your names, contact information, or individual study answers to absolutely anyone. You will merely helping me to gather statistics, nothing more or less than that, and your privacy will be treated with the utmost respect.

To qualify as a participant, you must be either an Otherkin or a Walk-In. Participants must also be over the age of 18. I am a college student, myself an Otherkin (but not a Starseed or Walk-In), and I absolutely PROMISE that I won't jeopardize your confidentiality. I wouldn't want anyone to do the same to me, after all!
